Many Shopify stores have a cookie banner whose choice doesn't reach the tags. I wire your banner into Shopify's own consent framework and Consent Mode v2, so tags wait for the visitor's choice, for a fixed £160.
Pay only once it's fixed. If I find your store doesn't have the problem, or it's outside a standard setup, you pay nothing. Standard setup: not Shopify Plus, one theme, one banner app.
Technical implementation, not legal advice.
A banner only collects the choice. Something has to pass it to every tag on the storefront and in checkout, and that link is usually missing. Often the storefront is right and checkout ignores the choice entirely. Since 15 June 2026, ad_storage alone decides whether ad data from your GA4 tags reaches Google Ads, so one wrong default now leaks straight through.
Not included: Legal wording or policy drafting, more than one banner app, a new banner app subscription, Shopify Plus. Whether your setup is lawful is a question for your solicitor or Data Protection Officer.
Nothing to pay up front, and no call needed first.
Shopify collaborator access and viewer access to the ad account. I confirm the problem within one working day.
Inside Shopify's own framework. Nothing goes live without your approval.
A before-and-after test order and handover notes. Then you pay the fixed price. Free re-fix if it breaks within 30 days.
The app shows the banner. Whether your tags obey it depends on how it's connected, and that's what I fix and test.
You lose data you weren't allowed to collect. Consent Mode v2 lets Google model some of the gap, so the drop is usually smaller than owners expect.
Fix all four for £320, and pay once they're done.
